...With so many people not able to attend our workshop with celebrity make up artist, Mario Dedivanovic, we wanted to be careful how we let you in on the experience. Mario has been so gracious in giving us his time and energy for this wonderful event. He cares so much about all artists, so those who were too far away or who just couldn't make the date...we will be doing another one very soon!
There is no greater gift than meeting and gaining words of wisdom from someone you respect and admire. So, we'd like to think that we were able to provide 40 artists with such a gift on December 4th and January 16th! You all love his work, so we wanted you to see him create that flawless face, up close and personal! Mario was not holding back any of his tips and tricks. The attendees were all ears, with pen and paper ready as he shared signature details. Using specific products to achieve his model's look, gave us insight like no other.
During the hands on portion of the workshop, the artists were given a chance to show Mario what they learned on their own model. Mario was able to walk the room offering feedback and suggestions to artists who requested it. We encouraged the artists to step out of their comfort zone, in trying new products and techniques. This particular element of our event is what sets us apart from other workshops out there!

If you still haven't signed up for the workshop, there is still space available on December 5, 2010. We actually had to extend the hours, and add the Artist Portfolio Event on this day due to the overwhelming response Mario has received. We are the only workshop around giving you the opportunity to meet the artists you admire, and a chance to build your personal portfolio with them. Those coming from out of town, we appreciate you, and travel safe. Looking forward to seeing you all there!

We have a guest model attending who you all may recognize from America's Next Top Model. Cycle 9 winner, Saleisha Stowers, will be Mylah's model for the day. If that's not enough, we dug up this Seventeen Magazine cover that Mylah actually worked on with Saleisha back in February 2008. It's now February 2010, and IAS reunites the ladies to work together once again! There will even be free giveaways from Cover Girl cosmetics throughout the day....how ironic, right? This is a workshop that you won't want to miss!!
